Join us for a fabulous and fun summer holiday with our past, present and future themes. Enjoy being a history helper with our museum Collections Officer, enjoy dancing and drumming activities and reach for the stars with our planetarium and alien invasion activities

History Helpers

Wednesday 22 July, Thursday 23 July, Wednesday 29 July and Thursday 30 July.

11am-12noon, 1pm-2pm each day.

Learn all about what we keep in our museums, how we look after our collection, and our battle against BUGS!

Learn and be inspired to make your own museum at home.

Join in our Bug trail and enjoy summer crafts.

Suitable for ages 5 and above. No need to book, just drop in.

Wonder Dome Planetarium

Thursday 20 August 11am – 3pm

See the wonders of the Solar System and beyond by stepping inside the Wonder Dome Planetarium.

Shows throughout the day: 11am – SEN Show, 11.30am, 12.10pm, 1.10pm, 1.50pm & 2.30pm

Alien Invasion Week

Wednesday 26 August 11am – 3pm

Enjoy our Alien crafts, colouring and trail at the Gallery.  Make your own Alien, paper plate Spaceship and more.

Alien Invasion – A Family Adventure at Wednesbury Museum and Art Gallery

Thursday 27 August 11am – 3pm

Strange lights have been spotted over the museum… and something has landed in the area. Families urgently need to investigate! Work together to follow clues, decode alien messages, and uncover why our unexpected visitors have arrived. Are they lost? Curious? Mischievous? Only your team can discover the truth and save the museum from intergalactic chaos.

A fast paced, laughter filled adventure where every family becomes a squad of brave space detectives.

Sessions at 11.15am and 1pm

Suitable for age 4+
