Spanning over 1,800 acres, this vibrant landscape is a mosaic of woodlands, wetlands, meadows, and farmland, with 660 acres dedicated to wildlife habitats, including three Local Nature Reserves. Whether you're a keen birdwatcher, a family looking for a day out, or a nature lover seeking tranquility, the Valley has something for everyone.

Wildlife & Nature
The park is a haven for biodiversity. Spot Grey Herons nesting in the heronry, hear the drumming of woodpeckers, and watch Lapwings dance across the fields. Seasonal visitors include Little Ringed Plovers, Oystercatchers, and a variety of warblers in spring, while winter brings flocks of Goosander, Teal, and Wigeon to the pools.

Beyond birds, the Valley is home to Water Voles, Weasels, and Muntjac Deer, as well as beautiful wildflowers like Southern Marsh Orchids and butterflies such as the Ringlet.
