Every Autumn, Birmingham Literature Festival brings world-class writers into the city, champions writers from across the region, and showcases wonderful writing in the Midlands.

Now in its 26th year, Birmingham Literature Festival has become one of the most vibrant and diverse festivals in the Midlands, drawing thousands of visitors from across the country.

This year’s festival runs from the 9th-18th October 2025 and features a stellar line up, including:
