Bromwich Hall Alive - Medieval Mayhem at Bromwich Hall Museum

Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September 2026 - 11am-4pm, Entrance Free, no need to book, just turn up

Join us at Bromwich Hall and in our grounds for a medieval encampment. Travel back 600 years with us to to time of the Wars of the Roses and see the house and grounds come alive with medieval characters rich and poor!

  • See the medieval encampment in the grounds
  • Meet the Lord and Lady of the Manor
  • You can also meet the Lord’s horse!
  • Young visitors can join in with knight school and learn to fight!
  • See the archery and fire power demonstration
  • See knights and soldiers fighting
  • Learn about medieval medicine
  • Play medieval games
  • See a medieval short street play
  • Create your own medieval tile
  • Take part in medieval music and dance
  • Enjoy our quizzes and trails
  • Have a go at kiddie archery

We will be posting a full timetable of activities and times on our Facebook page @sandwellmuseums a few days before the event. 

There is free parking on site.
