Chris Lowe

About

Chris has been telling stories since junior school. At the age of 8 he was taken round the whole school telling a story he had created for a class exercise. He has been telling ever since, but being a bit slow it took another 40yrs or more before he realised people would pay him to tell them porkies!

He has been singing for his supper for a good while longer. Appearing at folk clubs and festivals throughout the UK. For many years Chris was an integral part of Lady Smyths Relief, a travelling Victorian Music Hall troupe that entertained numerous audiences in Midlands.
Chris likes to involve his audience in his stories and his songs. He is famous for his spooky stories and his animated style of singing and telling. You will discover the words to songs that were only choruses until you met Chris. "Hello, Hello" and "Show Me The Way To Go Home" actually do have verses!

If all that isn't enough, I suggest you come and see him in action or is that you in action!!!
