Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb (Family Escape Room): Thursday 23rd July, 11:15am & 1pm
Join Professor Black, grab a clue sheet and embark on a quest to discover the missing ancient artifacts throughout the museum to lift the curse. But be careful… time is not on your side and the Mummy has awakened!

Terror From the Tomb: Sunday 2nd August, 3pm
An immersive talk delving into the gripping journey into the myths, mysteries, and chilling legends surrounding Egypt’s most feared burial sites. From cursed tombs to vengeful pharaohs, you’ll explore the real history behind the stories that have fascinated (and terrified) explorers for centuries.

Animal Planet with Fantastic Journeys. Friday 7th August. 12pm lively session for children with Additional Needs, 1.30pm gentle session for children with PMLD and/or Complex Support Needs
Join Fantastic Journeys for an interactive music and movement adventure. Journey to the Animal Planet in our magical hot air balloon. Meet the animals and take part in musical games and activities. These sessions will engage the children in music, movement, dance, and storytelling. Expect instrument playing, singing, dancing, parachute games and more. The sessions are suitable for children with Additional Needs and their families. Why not come make it a day out. You can attend the sessions then visit the park and playground too. Children should attend with a parent or carer.
Tickets £5.50 for each participating child with Additional Needs. There are a limited number of free tickets available for siblings if they are attending as part of family support. Parents/carers do not need a ticket.
The session is taking place on the ground floor of the museum and entrance is via the accessible entrance at the rear of the museum. Please ring the bell for entrance.

Take part in a game or two with our Games Expert in the Old Hall. Discover a collection of games from across the world and see if you can beat the expert!
Haden Hill Family Bingo Morning & Pub Quiz Afternoon: Thursday 13th August 11.30am & 2pm.
Join us as we celebrate two of Britain’s favourite pass times Bingo and a good ole Pub Quiz. Whether you come for the Bingo morning to see if you can win our prize or come with your quiz team to challenge you quiz brains, all are welcome, suitable for families

Juggling performance & Circus skills workshop with Steve the Juggler: Friday 14th August, 11:30am & 1.30pm

Walking with Robots: Friday 21 August 11am-3pm
Meet Spot; the agile, state of the art robot dog from Wolverhampton University and witness one of the global leaders in mobile robotics! See this how four-legged robot can map its environment, sense and avoid obstacles, climb stairs, and open doors.
