Stand Against Harmful Practices

About

Stand Against Harmful Practices - join our powerful community event

As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, join Sandwell Council and Black Country Women's Aid for an important conversation about so-called ‘honour’-based abuse.

This session will challenge misconceptions, explore the realities survivors face - including ongoing threats even after leaving - and amplify voices with lived experience.

A rolling presentation will run throughout, and we’ve created a welcoming space where you can sit down with us, grab a cuppa, and engage in meaningful conversation about driving change.

When: Wednesday 3 December, 1.45pm - 4pm.

Where: Central Library, High Street, West Bromwich, B70 8DZ.

Theme: Harmful practices - so-called ‘honour’ based abuse.
