About
Wallflower in the Wings Theatre Company returns to Haden Hill House Museum for the local premier of this piece by Black Country writer David Tristram.
When a genius commits a murder, the plan is perfect. But is it fool proof? Inspector Drake will face his greatest ever challenge. Who is the mysterious Doctor Short, and why did he marry a warthog? Has he murdered his fourth wife - or did she murder him first? These are just some of the questions facing the indomitable Drake in this hilarious whodunnit.
David Tristram is one of the UK's most popular and performed comedy playwrights. On average, one of his 29 published comedies is being performed somewhere in the world every single day. For the past six years he's been the writer and producer behind the Black Country comedy character “Doreen Tipton”. David has successfully collaborated over the past four years with Qdos – the world's biggest panto company – to write Doreen's character parts, resulting in her winning Best Newcomer at the Great British Panto Awards, and starring in Michael Harrison's production of Snow White at the Birmingham Hippodrome, which also went on to win Best Pantomime.
